It has been a very active preseason with new team introductions around the world and the LCS is no exception. FlyQuest has already confirmed its line-up for 2022, and the good news is that Argentine Brandon “Josedeodo” Villegas will be part of the starting squad.
Through Twitter, the US organization announced that its roster will be as follows:
- Colin “Kumo” Zhao
- Brandon “Josedeodo” Villegas
- Loïc “Toucouille” Dubois
- Johnson “Johnsun” Nguyen
- Zaqueri “Aphromoo” Black
The team will look to set the course for FlyQuest as it finished in the bottom 3 of the LCS last season.

Kumo and Josedeodo are the only survivors from the previous roster. Their lack of synergy with other team members was one of the factors that prevented them from competing head-to-head against more powerful squads. Now, however, they will have the help of one of the best supports in the region.
At 29, Aphromoo is the oldest player in the league, but all that experience will serve to guide his young comrades. In addition, he will meet again with Johnsun, an old teammate with whom he shared the bottom lane in Team Dignitas in 2020.
For his part, Toucouille is the new face of FlyQuest: the French mid-laner is not only among the most recent imports to the region, but he is also the youngest player in the organization.
We’ll see how the new FlyQuest template works when the LCS returns to action in January 2022.
