G2 Esports has presented its roster of League of Legends for the 2022 season. As expected, the European organization will keep Rasmus “Caps” Winther in center lane and Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski in the jungle. The rest of the team will change considerably.
Veteran Sergen “Broken Blade” Çelik will arrive to cover the top lane, while shooter Victor “Flakked” Lirola and support Raphaël “Targamas” Crabbé will make up the bottom lane.

Unlike Broken Blade, Flakked and Targamas are somewhat unusual hires as G2 tends to go for players with more experience and recognition in the LEC. Nonetheless, Flakked is coming off a couple of seasons with MAD Lions in the SuperLiga, and Targamas has been playing in the ERL since 2019.
The Belgian support also competed in the EU LCS during a split with Giants Gaming in 2018, but the results were not the best: the team finished the regular season with a record of 7 wins and 11 losses. However, last year he won 2 EU Masters with Karmine Corp.
Last season, G2 signed Martin “Rekkles” Larsson in hopes of winning Worlds 2021; however, it fell a long way from achieving it. The samurai were not only unable to conquer the LEC, but were left out of the world. Now, the goal of G2 will be to get back on the road to victory and win the long-awaited world title.
