Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl debuted in late October and sadly, the experience felt incomplete. We not only talked about the number of characters and the absence of voices, but also the lack of alternative costumes or colors to customize the available fighters. Luckily, a recent patch fixes this and other major fighting game issues.

Through its Twitter account, Ludiosity, the studio responsible for the project, confirmed that the latest update is now available for download on Xbox, PlayStation and PC consoles. Unfortunately, Nintendo Switch users will have to wait a little longer to enjoy the news.

In case you missed it: Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl’s popularity on Twitch plummeted

Without a doubt, the most interesting thing about this patch is the Super DLC 3000, a pack that includes free costumes for the entire cast of characters. So, SpongeBob is now showing off his # 1 cap, Invader Zim can wear his human-eyed costume, and Patrick Star wears a cute cowboy hat.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl applied character balancing and fixed some bugs

While most casual users will only appreciate the new costumes, the competitive community applauded and welcomed the new character balance changes.

In the patch notes we can see that the movements of a total of 9 characters received modifications in their characteristics and parameters. As highlighted by the portal Eventhubs, most of these changes are buffs that improve the frame data of certain attacks.

For its part, the update also fixes many glitches and bugs that depleted the experience. For example, the bug that caused a drop in the frames was corrected, as well as the one that prevented the correct use of the D-pads of the Xbox and PlayStation controls.

Without a doubt, this new wave of content and corrections shows that the studio is not throwing in the towel and that it will continue to work on improvements for the title. It is expected that, in the coming months, the first paid DLC character will arrive.

But tell us, what do you think of the new suits? Did you like them? Let us read you in the comments.
