Microsoft has added functionality to improve sharpness of the image in games when using Xbox Cloud Gaming in the browser of the computer. The company active Clarity Boost on the afternoon of this Monday, November 29, but at the moment it only works in the browser of the brand itself in its trial version, Microsoft Edge Canary.
The company has published two images comparative, from Gears Tactics and Halo Infinite respectively, where there is a clear improvement in sharpness. Said improvement does not respond to increased resolution of the image issued by Microsoft, but to a filter used in the latest version of Microsoft Edge which polishes the image.
To test this functionality, follow these steps:
- 1. Descargar Microsoft Edge Canary (available in Windows 10/11).
- 2. Confirm that you have the give 96.0.1033.0 or later by typing in the browser “edge: // settings / help.
- 3. Access www.xbox.com/play, log in and start a game.
- 4. Open the more options menu.
- 5. Select option “Activar Clarity Boost”.
