In addition to monsters, players will also have access to Mindbug cards, which allow them to take control of an opponent’s creature each time they play them, potentially changing the dynamics of the game in their favor.

Mindbug, control your opponent’s monsters and break their rhythm when they least expect it

Unlike many other card games, players do not build their own decks, but instead both share a pre-generated deck that includes certain creatures.

Players begin the game by drawing five cards from the deck, which consists of 10 cards in total, along with two mindbug cards. Next, the turns consist of the players placing cards and activating their abilities. Playing or activating the cards does not cost any resources and there are no mana-like mechanics in Magic: The Gathering.

Different creatures will have different effects that fire when players place them, as well as abilities that activate when players want them to.

If a player finds himself in a difficult situation, he can decide to use a Mindbug card on one of his opponent’s active creatures, thus taking possession of that card and using it against him. the one of the two players who manages to reduce the vital energy of his rival to zero, will be the winner of the game
