CD Projekt insists Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X / S in early 2022

At the end of last month CD Projekt RED announced a delay of the versions next-gen so much of Cyberpunk 2077 like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Although no specific release date was set, it was said that the futuristic RPG coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X / S during Q1 2022, while the update of the latest installment of Geralt of Rivia will be released later, in the second quarter of next year.

At financial report of the last fiscal quarter of CD Projekt RED The Polish company has reiterated its intention to launch both free updates in these windows, which indicates that at the moment the planning is following the channels marked a little more than a month ago. Adam Kiciński, CEO de CD Projekt, has explained that in parallel to these developments are undergoing a studio transformation that affects more and more production teams.

The first DLC of Cyberpunk 2077 still in development

Recently Adam Kiciński himself anticipated that in 2022 new triple A based on The Witcher and CyberpunkTitles that will be added to the CD Projekt portfolio in which other minor games also have a place, such as the one being developed by the recently acquired independent studio The Molasses Flood.
