Pokémon Brilliand Diamond & Shining Pearl they just debuted in a big way. It is a great closing of the year for fans of this series with all the content that is related to the games available in the franchise. And the best thing is that you will not have to wait long to enjoy the new adventure, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, which will debut in January 2022. Want more reasons to be excited? Then this is for you, as it is related to a new adventure that will take place in ancient Sinnoh, precisely in the Hisui region.

This new title will be closely linked to Pokémon Brilliand Diamond & Shining Pearl, as it will show ancestors of the characters of Sinnoh, a region full of legends. There is precisely one of them that was not in the original games, but just appeared in the remakes and includes a clue about a new species.

What is the Legend of the Sea in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?

Pokémon Brilliand Diamond & Shining Pearl They are very faithful to the original in terms of history and content in general, but curiously something was added that fans did not take long to find. The discovery in question is that of a new book with The Legend of the Sea, which can be found on one of the shelves of the Canalave Library and the interesting thing about this story is that this book is not in the library of the original Pokémon Diamond games & Pearl nor in Pokémon PlatinumRather, it is a recent discovery, the words of which have just been coded, according to official information.

According to the ancient tale, a human asked the sea creatures for permission to see a Pokémon known as the prince that inhabited the waters of the East Sea. Mantyke, Buizel, and Qwilfish recognized this person’s bravery, so they decided to follow him. The mythical creature would have found out about the human who wanted to see it and decided to meet him in Seaside Hollow. Another curious detail is that outside the story there is no knowledge of this location, since it has not appeared in any installment of the series or in the anime.

In case you missed it: you can get a very special creature in Pokémon Legends: Arceus if you have played previous titles in the series.

Will Qwilfish be shaped like Hisui in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?

The most striking thing is that it is said that the Qwilfish in the story would have “huge spines”. This has led us to believe that it is a teaser for a new regional form of Qwilfish, that is, Hisui Qwilfish, which would have longer than normal spines, at least. As for the “prince”, it probably refers to Manaphy, who in Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea is known as the Prince of the Sea.

Perhaps the ultimate clue is that, just as IGN mentions, the press embargo agreement explicitly asks that the reviews not specifically reveal or discuss anything about the books found in the in-game library. Which most likely means that this track is, in effect, related to content that will hit Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
