300: Earth and Water, Persians against Greeks in an asymmetric wargame • Console and Board

300: Earth & Water It will have an edition in Spanish, by the hand of Draco Ideas. Baptized as 300: Earth and Water, is defined as an asymmetric mini wargame, which will pit Athens against Sparta.

300: Earth and Water adds to The 300 of Draco Ideas. It is a system that starts the manufacture of each game once the amount of 300 reserves has been reached. Although the card number is requested, the charge is not made until the number of reservations marked is reached.

In the case of this novelty, it has 255 reserves, so production is expected to begin before the end of the year. Those who participate in it, will be able to buy the game for 19 euros, with free shipping and with a promotional card of the Battle of Thermopylae.

We are facing a game for 2 people, with games of 30 minutes. Indicated from the age of 12, it bears the signature of Yasushi Nakaguro. In charge of the illustrations are Nicolas Roblin and Antonio Stappaerts.

Following the essence of an asymmetrical wargame, it comes in a small box. It will put us at the forefront of armies and fleets during the Medical Wars. The result is a fight between Greeks and Persians. The Greek forces are presented as stronger than the Persians, although they have fewer units.

The experience can be enjoyed in a maximum of five rounds or in military campaigns. Each one starts with a preparation phase, where you can acquire resources. We must know that the Persians will have twice the resources, but less combat capacity.

It is followed by the operations phase, rated as the most important of the campaign. In it, the players carry out their actions. It ends when both of you go two turns in a row.

Actions are performed by playing their corresponding cards or events (sometimes limited to one use per game). Troop movements are part of the phase. Already in the supply, we can save cards for the next turn. We will check the communication lines and lose the armies and troops that we cannot supply.

During the scoring phase, we will earn points for the controlled cities. Specifically, due to the difference in scores between both sides. At the end of the fifth campaign, the game ends. The one with the most points will win.

It also ends when someone conquers two major cities, claiming victory. The asymmetry will be present both in the resources, as in the purchase and in the combat capacity, as well as in the events that can be played from the hand and in the limits.
