Xbox does not plan to improve backward compatibility of more classic games in the short term

Xbox recently updated more than 70 classic games to improve backward compatibility on your newer systems. The improvements broadly affect performance; many titles that originally ran at 30 fps now work at 60 fps. However, the company announced that no new backward compatible games will be added due to technical and rights issues and we got the news today that they also do not plan to implement the FPS Boost improvements to other games, at least in the near future. This was revealed by Jason Ronald, Xbox’s director of project management, in an interview for Iron Lords.

Broadly speaking, Ronald revealed that Xbox does not plan to bring the FPS Boost improvements to more backward compatible games in the near future.
