Amazon Black Friday deal: snag this top dash cam for $ 70 off right now

Black Friday isn’t here yet, but there are already a ton of money-saving deals you can take advantage of. Dash cameras are among the discounted products, so this is the perfect time to add a little extra security to your engine.

Now Amazon has lowered the price of the Thinkware U1000 dash cam to $ 329. That’s a $ 70 savings over the regular retail price, and it means you can record wherever your car goes in crisp 4K resolution.

If you are looking for a dash cam then this one might be worth buying. Note that Tom’s Guide has not reviewed the Thinkware U1000 and bases this recommendation on Amazon and other external reviews. Currently, the U1000 has 4 stars on Amazon, with some praising its feature set, while others have done it for Thinkware’s mediocre customer support and bad app.

While Amazon reviews are more varied, ZDNet It gave the Thinkware U1000 an 8.6 out of ten, although it complained about its poor application and cloud deployment. But that was a 2019 review. According to a recent YouTube channel review vortex radarThinkware has made a number of improvements over the years and the current product is very good.

The Thinkware U1000 offers a maximum video resolution of 4K, which is enough to capture even the smallest details on the road. Or if you prefer a super smooth view, you can shoot at 60fps by reducing that resolution to 2K.

In addition to this, the U1000 comes with a 150 degree viewing angle, night vision (with dedicated drive and parking modes), automatic impact detection, GPS, and access to Thinkware cloud services. That cloud connection not only saves your videos to an external server, it also allows you to locate your vehicle, send impact notifications, and allows you to view a live camera feed remotely.

While the U1000 only offers a single view, it can also be connected to a Thinkware rear dash camera (with 2K resolution) to monitor everything that happens behind you. However, that costs an additional $ 99.
