Call to Adventure Epic Origins is the next title in the RPG-inspired board game series and will be compatible with Dungeons & Dragons 5E.

Call to Adventure Epic Origins is a board game designed for 1 to 4 players, with a recommended age from 13 years, and with games of a variable duration ranging between 30 and 60 minutes

This new title combines elements of the previous ones, such as the creation and construction of characters, with aspects of exploration and combat. Throughout the game, players will compete to collect as many Fate Points as possible, while working together to defeat the dreaded Adversary, who must be beaten in order for either player to have a chance to win.

When creating their characters, players will draw cards to determine what type of person they are, including aspects such as their species, status, class, and subclasses, which will give them access to particular abilities and display the destination points they have.

Player character boards will not only award them their abilities and destiny points, but will also help tell the story of those characters. As players progress through the game, they’ll collect more cards that grant them additional runes and abilities, as well as more Fate Points and even more storytelling threads for their story.
