Battlefield 2042 It will debut on Friday, November 19, but users who pre-ordered the deluxe versions and EA Play Pro subscribers already had a chance to play thanks to early access. However, the preview version left a lot to be desired, as players encountered a lot of bugs and other performance bugs. Luckily, a patch arrived today that fixes many problems, but not all.

Through a post on its official blog, Electronic Arts revealed that the 0.2.1 update has already been applied to the servers and fixes some of the critical issues that depleted the experience. This patch is in preparation for the game’s global launch that will take place this Friday.

What bugs does the new Battlefield 2042 update fix?

Most of the fixes focus on the Hazard Zone mode, but it is also possible to find a lot of changes in the rest of the experience.

Thus, the patch significantly reduces the stuttering that appeared in some instances, as well as the number of hitches that occurred at the end of rounds in All-Out Warfare modes. Furthermore, allied names will appear correctly and players will get the correct amount of XP in Hazard Zone mode.
