Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector launches December 2 on Xbox Series, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This title, on sale on PC since summer, is edited by Slitherine and offers us turn-based strategy set in the sinister universe of the millennium 41. “Choose your faction, develop your army, send powerful heroes to the battlefield, and fight for victory using your best strategy, incredible skills, and devastating weapons,” says the team. In addition, coinciding with the release on consoles, it will be available on Xbox Game Pass for Xbox and PC.
We will be able to experience a single player campaign with Twenty missions exploring the aftermath of Baal’s devastation. “Help Sergeant Carleon and his allies purge the plague of the Tirnids from Baal Secundus and preserve the honor of the noble Blood Angels.” In the skirmish mode, for example, we will select the maps of the surface of Baal to be part of the Blood Angels, or of the Tirnidos. “Fully customize your army by choosing units, heroes and their weapons.”
We’ll control iconic units like the Blood Priest, the Librarian Dreadnought, and the Swarm Tyrant to annihilate your enemies. There are more than 60 skills and 50 weapons to kill your rivals.
We can use command points to request air support skills specific to your faction. Blood Angels Stormraven can lay waste to the xenos with a shower of missiles or infiltrate a unit of veteran Assault Marines between enemy lines. Meanwhile, the Ragged Harp can ravage enemy defenses with its sonic screech, or scatter its deadly spore mines across the battlefield.
It also includes asynchronous and live multiplayer modes, in addition to the available hotseat modes.
