Overwatch It debuted in that distant 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, while a few years later it arrived on Nintendo Switch and new generation consoles. Now, a new clue suggests that this popular Blizzard hero shooter could eventually make its way to mobile devices.

A few months ago some rumors began to emerge suggesting the existence of Overwatch Mobile, a supposed mobile version of the competitive title. However, Blizzard never commented on the matter, which coupled with the constant delays of Overwatch 2 and the internal problems of the company put in doubt the veracity of the project.

That said, a new track emerged recently that revived the rumors again and that seems to indicate that the mobile video game is real and that its development could be well underway. Specifically, Blizzard posted a job vacancy on its website to hire a person who will work on multiple mobile titles based on the company’s franchises.

“Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Product Manager to help us create the best mobile gaming experiences in the world. This person will work on various titles: Diablo, Overwatch, Hearthstone and many more great games, ”reads the job description.

If we consider that the person who gets the job will focus on mobile games, we could assume that there is currently a project of Overwatch for such platforms among the company’s plans. Of course, it is currently impossible to know if it is a port of the original game, the sequel or a spin-off.
