FitBit is a great device for keeping track of daily activities, exercise, sleep schedules, and more. FitBit is generally worn as a smart watch or tracker on your wrist, but you can install it on iOS and Android devices as well.

While this app was designed to keep track of daily activities that are still in progress, it also allows you to manually record steps and other exercises once you’ve finished them. In this article, we will show you how to manually enter data in the FitBit mobile app.

How to Manually Record Steps in the FitBit iPhone App

The FitBit app was created to keep track of daily activities such as walking, daily food and water intake, exercise, and much more. You can also monitor the number of calories you burn each day, as well as your heart rate and sleep schedule. All in all, FitBit helps you create and maintain healthy routines that you can follow on a daily basis.

Not only can you use FitBit smartwatches and trackers to monitor your current activity, but you can also download the FitBit app on your phone. Furthermore, FitBit is not only compatible with iOS and Android devices, but you can also download it on PC and Xbox.

The FitBit mobile app is the ideal alternative for those who cannot afford the FitBit watch. You can take your phone with you when you go for a run or a walk. The MobileTrack feature will monitor movement in the same way as the watch. In addition, the application is free.

While you can use the app to track all of these activities, FitBit also gives you the option to manually record your exercises after a certain period of time. This feature is intended for those who forget to use the device; they can use the app to update the exercise information later. You can also use this function when you want to register something that is not automatically detected.

While you can choose “Walking” for your exercise type, you cannot actually add the exact number of steps you have taken. On the other hand, you can add other types of information, such as the duration of your walk and the exact time and date of your walk.

To manually record exercises in the FitBit app on your iPhone, follow the steps below:

  9. Tap the “Login” button when you are done.

When you return to the “Today” screen, you will see that the “Exercise” tab has been updated.

If you want, you can edit the entries after they have been saved. You can do this by visiting the “History” tab in the FitBit app. You can not only edit the type of exercise, but also the date, time and duration. Note that you can only do this in the FitBit app, not the FitBit watch.
