Monsterpocalypse, the title based on the Privateer Press skirmish game, has achieved its kickstarter funding goal.

Monsterpocalypse is a board game designed for 2 to 4 players, with a recommended age from 14 years, and with games of a variable duration that ranges between 60 and 90 minutes.

This is a fast-paced, action-packed miniatures game with detailed miniatures depicting the most fearsome giant monsters on Earth. Monsterpocalypse lets you choose from several large beasts inspired by classic Kaiju monsters.

The basic version of Monsterpocalypse supports a two-player board game mode, while a further expansion includes a cooperative mode, as well as support for up to four players.

There are four different factions in the game, G.U.A.R.D, planet eaters, lords of Cthulhu and terrasaurs, which are represented by a selection of characters. The Monsterpocalypse board game is compatible with the original, and players will be able to use their creatures in the next title and vice versa.

Matt Wilson is the creator of Monsterpocalypse, having previously designed the original skirmish game and Warmachine, another miniature game in which players become elite sorcerer soldiers called warcasters who are capable of controlling steam-powered fighting machines.
