Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection could arrive on PS5 and PC in February 2022

At the beginning of September, in the last PlayStation Showcase that Sony held and whose summary in Spanish you can read here, the arrival of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy a PS5 and PC under a new collection that will debut sometime in 2022. At that time no exact release date was specified, although it was ensured that it would reach computers at the beginning of the year and a little later on the console. Now Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection has been featured in the Australian age rating agency, which points to a premiere in the coming months.

As they point out in VGC, the appearance of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection on the Australian age rating agency could indicate an imminent launch of these two Naughty Dog games on PS5 and PC. Doing calculations with other recent games, such as Halo Infinite O Forza Horizon 5, there was a three-month window between his rating at this agency and its release (the Xbox racing game appeared in August and has been released in November), so it could be estimated that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy may be released remastered in February 2022.

It should be remembered that the movie of Uncharted I know brand new February 11, a date that could fit with these speculations and that Sony could take advantage of to reinforce the marketing campaign of both products.

They will arrive with graphical and performance improvements

For now, yes, the official information continues to mention that the release window for this remastered collection is early 2022, so we will have to wait to know its exact date. We also do not know exactly what kinds of graphics and performance improvements we can expect in these new versions of the last two installments of the saga Uncharted, although from this aspect it is specified that they will “remastered with improved graphics, higher frame rates, and incredible detail”. We can also expect other types of usual improvements in the ports for PlayStation for PC, such as support for widescreen monitors and improved resolutions.
