The Dark Quarter is the next board game from the studio behind the Crime Chronicles series, Lucky Duck Games, a horror title based on New Orleans folklore.

Although there is still little information about it, it is known that The Dark Quarter will have a recommended age of 16 years. This is a horror title with an adult theme and mature content.

The action takes us to the city of New Orleans during the 1980s, players will be able to explore an open world in a vein similar to that of another of the previous Lucky Duck releases, Destinies, which turned out to be much “bigger than it was. expected”.

The Dark Quarter will be a cooperative board game for one to four players and will focus on narrative progression and character development. A cultural consultant has been hired, Omari Akil, to help set the mood for the game and ensure that it is true to the history of New Orleans, a city famous for its heritage and Creole communities.

The company will launch a financing campaign to raise the capital necessary to produce The Dark Quarter.
