Tesla’s new Model X Long Range enjoys improved battery technology that makes it lighter, significantly improves performance and charging speed.
TeslaThe updated Model X Long Range SUV is lighter and more powerful. While this is not Tesla’s fastest vehicle, it has always been capable of exciting acceleration and that should be even faster with this update. While early revisions to the revamped design only point to minor exterior trim changes, most updates are internal.
The Tesla Model X is an extraordinary electric vehicle and pushes the limits of what is possible with a car that has no emissions. With a maximum capacity of seven passengers, the whole family can travel and its range of more than 300 miles eliminates any worry about recharging on a normal or short trip. Starting at a price of over $ 100,000, it’s clearly a luxury SUV, but one that begins to pay off every day and every time you pass a gas station.
According to EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) documents first detected by @tempermanant On Twitter, the new Model X Long Range is lighter and more powerful than the previous generation, with an updated battery pack that sheds over 200 pounds and retains nearly the same capacity. Power is said to have increased by more than 30 percent and charging speed has also improved. This is a significant upgrade to Tesla’s largest vehicle, so it’s a good time to consider whether you’re in the market for a premium SUV.

Faster charging for Tesla Model X
The Model X was beginning to lag behind due to newer and lower-cost models in terms of loading speed. Due to the use of older battery cells, even after the 2020 software update, the Model X achieved a charging rate of 225 watts, up from 200 watts, while the Model 3 and Model Y can take advantage of up to 250 watts of power that speeds up the process by up to 11 percent. With the recent battery update, full speed charging will be possible on these newer Model X cars.
As the most important component of an electric vehicle, Tesla continually researches and updates battery technology. While there are many variables for Tesla to juggle, the most important is the ability to mass produce these battery packs at high speed while maintaining strict quality control. Going forward, iron-based batteries will be used in the Model 3 and Model Y, and while a more advanced battery design that could significantly extend range has been delayed, it is expected to arrive sometime later. 2022. Meanwhile, several Tesla cars are enjoying the benefits of incremental advancements that are now ready, including the Tesla The Model X Long Range gets lighter and more powerful.
