Call of Duty he’s no stranger to crossovers with other popular culture products. So far, Activision’s FPS has only crossed paths with Western franchises, but it looks like that will change soon. What happens is that new information indicates that it will have a collaboration event with Attack on Titan.

What happens is that the dataminer known as @_Nanikos_ began to explore the files of Call of Duty: Vanguard. In doing so he found lines of code pointing to which crossover with Attack on Titan is planned for this new installment of the FPS saga.

This is code that references an operator described as aot_titan. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that it could be a reference to a Titan of Attack on Titan. Another dataminer found a similar reference, but it is related to a sword.

Does this confirm content of Attack on Titan for Call of Duty: Vanguard?

Now, does this confirm that we will see an event of Attack on Titan on Call of Duty: Vanguard? Not really. Although it is a clue that seems to be very clear, the reality is that there are several things that could turn out different from what we expect.

For example, there is a possibility that the aot we see in the code means something else. It could also be code that references content that will never see the light of day. It may even be that Sledgehammer Games just left it there to troll us. Believe it or not, that’s something other developers have done.
